At SVC, we know how important it is for you to maintain your health and have the best quality of life. We also realize that each person is unique and may have health concerns that are not being listened to by other providers. Our provider at SVC is prepared to offer you with the best options to meet your health challenges. She will provide you the opportunity to make an informed decision about your health with all options discussed at your appointment. We provide comprehensive primary care for children and adults of all ages, and assist with understanding and managing diseases. Some of the most common issues we treat are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma and COPD, skin irritation and rashes, hormonal imbalances, and infections. We also provide services for more urgent matters such as breathing treatments, suturing, and joint immobilization.
We also pride ourselves in providing DOT physicals for CDL drivers at the lowest rate you will find in Arizona. The entire exam and paperwork takes no longer than 20 minutes, and we email your certificate to motor vehicles with your email attached for receipt confirmation- There is no need for you to go to DMV and drop off your certificate. We also provide a laminated and foldable mini certificate for your wallet. Our practitioner is the wife and mother of journeyman linemen and knows how important it is to maintain a commercial driver's license in the power line industry.
We want to hear your story so we can help you live a healthy life. We look at the full picture and not just your physical health.
Our compassionate nurse practitioner provides education and treatment plans based on your individual needs and is happy to spend the time with you to answer any questions you may have.
What Does the DOT Physical Exam Consist Of?
NOTE: Drug tests are NOT collected by the DOT medical examiner. This test will not be completed in this office and should be ordered to take place elsewhere by your employer.
We are essentially a primary care practice that specializes in family medicine. Unlike other primary care practices, SVC has chosen to present the practice as a place where people go to understand what is causing their low energy, decreased physical and mental drive, brain fog, illnesses, depleted motivation, and will power. Not everything can be "fixed" with pills and we understand that natural approaches can be extremely beneficial. We also know that not everyone has the money to treat their bodies as well as those in Hollywood.
Sometimes all we need is someone to listen to us, help us brainstorm remedies, be a cheerleader and support system for us, and treat us like family. Going to see your primary care provider should not be a dreaded event and should ALWAYS be the first line of defense against illness and disease.
So, where does the word "vitality" fit into the picture?
If you think about it, the word "vital" means to be essential or absolutely necessary. So when we talk about vitality, we are emphasizing what is absolutely necessary for you to live the healthiest life. Often, it is difficult to live as healthy as we would like to because of daily demands. Soon we find we are in a hamster wheel with our health, doing the same thing every day, and not getting a different result. We are depressed and unhappy because we cannot take care of ourselves they way we need to live healthy.
As frustration mounts over self-neglect and dealing with health conditions, we begin to feel that we have lost power over our lives. This powerlessness exacerbates existing exhaustion, decreases liveliness and excitement about life, and further dulls our mood and thoughts. It is then that vitality is more important than ever and the only way sometimes to beat the effects of disease.
We now you are asking how to feel strong and energetic everyday and how to make your health a priority when you are so busy everyday. The answer is to find out what is causing low vitality and concentrate on those reasons. Sometimes we have to take baby steps and have patience when trying to reach our health goals. Just remember, you have SVC to help with achieving a healthier life. We all have to start somewhere!
Currently, all initial primary care visits are completed in office. Some appointments may be done through a virtual call if you were previously seen and required treatment. For medication refills, please contact our office or pharmacy before you run out! All DOT physicals are completed in office.
